About Blubee

Blubee makes free self-assessments about attachment, relationships and the patterns people repeat, plus the articles that explain what a result actually means. There is a mobile app, and everything on this site works without it.

Where the questions come from

Each assessment is adapted from a published instrument, and the instrument is named on the page along with a link to its source. We work from the original validation paper or scoring manual, not from a secondary summary of it. Where an article states a number, that number carries the study and the year it came from.

You always get the result

No test here asks for an email address, an account, or a share before it shows you your result. The full result appears on the spot. This is a deliberate constraint on the business, not an oversight: a result held back is a result you cannot check.

What we will not publish

We do not publish diagnostic screeners for conditions such as ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder or PTSD, we do not build tests that rate appearance or weight, and we do not write pages aimed at diagnosing another person. Those pages get traffic. They also do harm, and the line is worth more than the traffic. If you are in crisis, go tocrisis and support resources instead of any test.

Nothing here is a diagnosis

These are educational self-assessments. They describe patterns, not disorders, and they cannot replace an evaluation by a qualified professional. If a result worries you, that is a reason to talk to a clinician, not a reason to take another test.
